Cancellations, transfers and refunds

Cool off period

All courses are fully refundable during the ‘cooling off period.’ The ‘cooling off period’ starts on the day when the initial payment is confirmed. The cooling off period finishes 48 hours after the initial payment being received OR once you have attended a course/course is scheduled whichever is earlier.  Online courses and eBooks are not refundable due to instant downloads for digital contents.

Bookings made within 48 hours of scheduled date of the course

For courses scheduled to start within 48 hours cooling off period, decision to refund is made under special circumstances and discretionary. Please email or phone 02080640754. Leave a voice mail if out of hour.  We will discuss with you as soon as possible.

You can transfer to a different date for a similar course (subject to availability) or transfer to a different course (subject to availability). You will be not be charged.

After 48 hours of cool off period

Changes in date of the course or transfer to a different course is possible up to four weeks before the scheduled date. You will not be charged for this.

Changes in date of the course or transfer to a different course is possible up to two weeks before the scheduled date is possible (subject to availability of the course/date) and an administration fee £75 is charged to cover cost of rescheduling your tutor, booking, venue costs etc. 

No changes in date or transfer to a different course is possible within/less than two weeks before start of the scheduled course.

Online courses and digital books with instant access are not eligible for refunds. When such material is provided as part of another course (online/virtual course), we also deduct the cost of individual items when making refund. This is in addition to administration costs (as applicable).Refund can only be made in extenuating circumstances. Please email us and we will discuss with you. 

Cost of any books/online course provided as part of the course will be deducted from the refund in all situations.

For course cancellation due to illness please contact us by emailing  . In such situations, we reserve the right to offer a full or partial refund. You can also be given an alternative date/course. You will need to ensure that you notify of the request to cancel due to illness and can produce, when requested, a sick note from your GP stating that you are unfit for work.

Any printed material (books) purchased from us cannot be refunded unless returned in unused condition. You need to bear the cost of return postage.

Transferring to another course

You can request a transfer to a different course up to 4 weeks before the course starts. There is no charge for this. If the new course you request a transfer cost more, than you will need to pay the difference. If the new course costs less, we will refund the difference.

Any request to transfer to a different course, up to 2 weeks of the schedule date of the booked course is possible with an administration fee of £ 75. If the new course you request a transfer cost more, than you will need to pay this difference as well.  If the new course costs less, we will refund the difference.

No changes in date or transfer to a different course is possible within/less than two weeks before start of the scheduled course.

No refund or transfer to different date/course are possible if you fail to attend without giving us any notice.

Transferring to a different name

Request to transfer a booking a to a different person is possible as follows. No admin fee is charged if request to transfer is made upto/within 2 weeks before start of the course. An administration fee of £ 75 is charged for any requests to change the name on a booking made less than 2 weeks before the start date of a scheduled course.

Administration fees

We charge an administration fee of £75 to cover the time and expense of processing your refund/transfer. If your course is less than 4 weeks away, we may make an additional charge of £50 to cover the additional administration of cancelling with tutors, venues and making changes to attendee lists for group courses. Under no circumstances, you will pay more that the values of the course you have booked.

Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel any event or service provision for any reason and at any time at our absolute discretion. In the unlikely event that this occurs, we will give you as much notice as we can. You will be entitled to a full refund of the course fee, however any expenses incurred related to the course including (but not limited to) travel, food and accommodation will not be reimbursed. We will try to give you at least 1 weeks’ notice unless weather or other circumstances (Covid 19 as an example but not limited to it) but sometimes (for example when a course is cancelled due to bad weather) this is not possible. If you need to make travel arrangements (hotels, train etc.) please choose refundable options.

We accept no liability for non-refundable costs in the event that a course is cancelled. We reserve the right to cancel a course in exceptional circumstances or to protect tutor/delegate from harm.

If our risk assessment allows the course to proceed as scheduled, failure to attend the course may result in the loss of the course fee with no refunds or transfer to different date possible.

Online courses and digital books

Online courses, digital contents eBook have instant access. The contents are copyright protected and for your sole use. Any copying, distribution or resale, either physically or digitally, is prohibited without advance written permission from us. No refunds are permitted for online course, digital contents, eBooks. We will refund value of these when the material is made available to you as part of another course e.g. online course available to candidates that boom our group course or one to one tutoring. You will retain full access to those materials as stipulated with time limitation set at the time of the booking.

Books and printed resources

Once booking is completed, you will be sent these by post. We aim to dispatch them within 48 hours of receiving the order. Please allow 2-3 days for delivery. Refunds are only possible for printed material if returned in unused condition, You pay the cost of postage for return.  Unless the book is faulty, you will need to pay the return postage. Please contact us  before you return any material.

Photocopying, selling, sharing or transmitting in any form is not permissible unless with prior permission form us.

Your statutory rights
